Shri. Rajan Babu’s quest for service to the public did not stop with his employment with the government.  Shri. Rajan Babu was associated with a number of philanthropic societies and organizations whose objectives were to uplift and empower the deprived and needy to enable them to acquire a status for themselves and to be self reliant and self sufficient.

Shri. Rajan Babu also was associated with an organization called SIVA FOUNDATION, of which he was the Vice-President, for the promotion of the art and culture of India.  Rajan Babu through this organization identified various artists who were not able to make both ends meet and provided them with necessary financial and other assistance so that they re-dedicate themselves for the promotion of the rich heritage of this country.

Shri. C. Rajan Babu is a long time supporter of many Cultural Organizations and involved in many cultural events.  He has associated with reputed and famous organizations like Madras Telugu Academy as its Vice-President, Bharat Cultural Integration Committee as its Vice-Chairman, Sat Sankalpa Trust as its Chairman and Association of Superintendent of Customs as its President.
